12th Annual Professional Symposium for the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders

The 12th Annual Professional Symposium for the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 16 and 17, 2012. Keynote Speaker is James Lock, MD, PhD, FAED. Dr. Lock is a Professor of Child Psychiatry and Pediatrics in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine where he also serves as the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Care Unit and Director of the Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Program.The symposium is jointly sponsored with UT Southwestern Medical Center. New Date for the 7th Annual Life Lessons Luncheon

The 7th Annual Life Lessons Luncheon has a new date -- Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 11:30 am, at The Hilton Anatole Hotel. Our keynote speaker will be noted author and educator Brad Lamm, best known for helping people make life-enhancing change on The Dr. OZ Show. Brad himself is in long-term recovery from both an eating disorder and alcohol and drug addiction. Chaired by Robin Bagwell and Jan Osborn, this much-anticipated event helps to raise awareness about the problem of eating disorders and provides funds to support the programs and services provided by The Elisa Project.
1st Dallas NEDA Walk to Benefit The Elisa Project

Join The Elisa Project for the first Dallas NEDA Walk. NEDA walks help unite communities and raise awareness about eating disorders. This is a non-competitive event, and registrants may participate in whatever capacity they feel appropriate! Proceeds benefit both The Elisa Project and the National Eating Disorders Association.
