  • The Elisa Project's Ninth Annual Symposium for the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders will be held at CityPlace Conference Center in Dallas, TX on Friday, February 29th, 2008. 
  • The Elisa Project Annual Symposium for the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders is offered each year in the spring.  It is designed for professionals who are seeking knowledge in preventing, recognizing, diagnosing, and treating eating disorders.  Level I (Primary) of the symposium is designed for medical professionals new to the eating disorder specialty as well as school administrators, counselors, nurses, coaches and athletic department faculty.  Level II (Advanced) is designed for professionals currently treating eating disorders including medical professionals, psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians, cardiologists, dieticians, family practitioners, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, social workers, pediatric nurses, psychiatric nurses, and nurse practitioners. 
  • The Elisa Project Annual Symposium for the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders is planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Educations through the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and The Elisa Project.  The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  For more information about this event, please view brochures from previous Symposia, or contact The Elisa Project office.
