New Eating Disorders Family & Friends Support Group
The Elisa Project is proud to announce the inaugural meeting of a new Family & Friends Support Group. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is joining with us to offer this important service for those who have a loved one struggling with an eating disorder. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, March 18, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the Serenity Room at the Community Mental Health Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.
Master's level social worker, Michelle Deal, LMSW, is coordinating the support group, and mother and daughter, Wendy Rosenfeld and Evan MacAdams, will be on hand to discuss their perspectives on the recovery process. Evan is now 11 years in recovery. The group will meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. For more information, please call Michelle at 214.345.5588 or The Elisa Project at 214.369.5222.
